Concurrent Enrollment
Students must take all required graduation classes within Piedmont Unified School District.
If students choose to take a course outside of PUSD, they should discuss this plan with their counselor and review the course content to ensure the class is covering similar curriculum as the Piedmont Unified class. Often, the subject department asks students to take a placement exam if the student is choosing to take a course outside of PUSD for advanced placement in the next level.
If the student is taking the course for enrichment, it is up to the student to choose the course. No courses outside of Piedmont Unified will be placed on a student’s transcript. Students can choose to send a class transcript to their college.
